A Little More Reflection . . .

I know I already posted about 500 pictures of our reflections in our less than clean mirrors. However, as it turns out, this week's theme at I Heart Faces is also "Reflection." So here's my entry for this week in the kids' category.
(please note that we STILL haven't cut our grass . . . )

I also thought I'd enter the adult's category this week (I know, try to contain your excitement). I saw lots of these pictures (of reflections in the eye) already among this week's fabulously talented entries, so I realize this is nothing new. But I loved seeing my reflection in my best friend's son's eyes. I mean, could he be more of a heartbreaker? They are going to be in big trouble when the ladies start noticing him. And I'm thinking it wont be long now . . .

*Can I just say how FUN I Heart Faces is?! And the guest judge this week is Nate of The Image is Found (which has been my favorite photography blog forever - and I'm not just saying that to try and suck up to the judge)

Check out the entries this week on their site - you won't be disappointed. I say that because I enjoy making sweeping promises that I can actually follow through on.
*For example, I have learned not to promise that I won't eat cheese or drink diet coke for any period longer than 24 hours.

  4. I love mirrors outside! They seem so, I don't know, "secret garden" to me. :o) And to have SUCH a sweet reflection in that mirror? It's awesome! Now, if we could only tap into our baby's brains and figure out just what the heck they are thinking when we snap their photos...

  12. First of all, I am a little envious of that thick dark grass. I wish mine looked that nice. Second, who doesn't love a picture of a baby looking at herself in the mirror?? Priceless. What a beautiful family. And the reflection in the eyes is awesome, I love it.

    I don't know what you are talking about! These shots are simply fantastic and crystal clear! You wouldn't want them any sharper than that! What great pictures this week. So, SO good.

    I also am a huge fan of Nate at The Image is Found. I have been coveting his work for so long now. I was bummed that I didn't have a fabulous picture to enter this week.... but you did!

    I LOVE the reflection in the eyes shot! This is one shot I haven't been able to get right myself.

    And the mirror in the (super tall but MAN look how green!) grass is awesome, too - I really have to get a mirror out and try this shot since I keep seeing it (last week, this week) and it's so gorgeous

  52. Oh my goodness, these are just beautiful. I love the lawn, we had a house up the street that was empty and had not mowed. I used it many times for great pictures. I was sad the day someone mowed it.

    The eyes and the reflection on your adult entry is phenomenal. I loved it.
