Our time at the game is one of my all-time favorite memories with these boys. They started the wave and it went around and around the stadium. It appears their enthusiasm was contagious. I don't think the smile left my face the entire game, in fact I know it didn't, even though I was 7 months pregnant and it was scorching hot. And I am a whiner (I'll just go ahead and admit it), so that is saying a lot.Anyways, I chose this picture this morning, because I cannot get Saviour off my heart, and I need you to know his story. Because some stuff is happening in his life right now, and I will hopefully share it with you soon. But he needs your prayers. Desperately.
So please pray for Saviour and his brother Sincere and sister Samaya. Thank-you so much, y'all are the best!
Oh and you can see more (and better) hat pictures over at I Heart Faces.

ReplyDeleteBecca, you have such a lovely heart for your ministry. I hear many stories like this one, because my mom teaches at an inner-city school. Breaks my heart every time. I will pray for your kids.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's the story behind the photo that makes it award winning and I hope that something happens in Sabo's life to give him the chance he needs. What a wonderful spirit that you have to look beyond. It's a reminder to me of how much I take for granted. I'll keep this young boy in my thoughts and prayers.

ReplyDeleteIn my prayers. Sometimes it is so precious to pray for a person's story you don't know because it's not about the story, but the person.
ReplyDeleteThe picture is good too!
Beautiful pictures. Lifting you all in prayer..
ReplyDeleteI love this picture even more after reading the story.
ReplyDeletePraying!
I am trying to keep the tears at bay after reading Sabo's story. I am not really sure why, as I am not a crier. I admire what you are doing and the odds which are against you, but as you well know, all things are possible through Christ! And I think you used the opportunity of the extra blog traffic from i heart faces to highlight a child in need of prayer. And, aside from that, I think your picture is awesome in the stark B&W tones. I really love it.
ReplyDeleteHow precious!!!! What sweet smiles and I'll definitely be praying, my friend!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the fact there's more behind the pictures...I think you did a great job!
