Bubble Rejects . . .

That sort of sounds like an oxymoron or something. 'Bubble' just seems far too happy and carefree to be rejected. Of course, I myself was rejected many-a-time, so I can totally understand how "bubble" feels right now.

I must apologize because I just re-read that last sentence or two, and they make no sense whatsoever. Which is why, my friends, one shouldn't stay up playing with Photoshop when all you REALLY need is sleep. Well that and some chocolate, but there is none to be had. So sleep is a close second.

Here's a few shots from our bubble photoshoot yesterday that didn't quite make the cut for this week's contest. Please dont tell me if I picked the wrong one for my entry. Those are the sorts of things I prefer NOT to know.
*Please note that many of these pictures did not even end up having any actual bubbles in them. Apparently I have less-than-cat-like reflexes.

Oh Look - There's a bubble!
Jayci's first bubble bath. I think she liked it.

  1. LOL - somehow that first paragraph made perfect sense to me :)

Then again, it's almost tomorrow, so a lot of things are making me giggle right now, ha.

Love those pics. And that first one is SO frameworthy! Bubble or no - that girl belongs on your wall.

I mean, ahem, that PICTURE belongs on your wall. I would never advocate attaching your child to a vertical surface with a laser level and a Hercules Hook... ahem.

And that second to last shot? That bubble sure looks like a cute hat! :) See, told ya I get weird when I stay up too late...

    Blessings!

  2. Love the hat bubble pic too! LOL Man oh man she is cute! I would like to know if you had help with the bubble thing? I am thinking it would be mighty hard to hold a huge bubble wand like that and the camera at the same time.

  5. So fun and so cute!!! My daughter has become obsessed with bubble baths in the past week - which would possibly be annoying (maybe, just a little) if it didn't make for such great pictures! :)

  8. It's really a wonder that you get anything accomplished at all. She's too darn adorable to do anything other than squeeze those cheeks all day long!

  12. Jayci is adorable! I stumbled across your blog a few months ago and I had to laugh--my name is Becca, my daughter is Jacy and my husband and I have a heart for the inner city and have been teaching/running outreach programs in one for the last 9 years. We love serving Jesus through that and the awesome family He's blessed us with, so it would seem we have a few things in common :)(It would also seem that we dress our girls in similar outfits, which was really what ultimately led me to finally comment...it's the important stuff, you know!)Hope you don't mind the long comment from a stranger, but I wanted to let you know that I'm definitely encouraged to read about a mama similar to myself. Stop by our blog sometime, if you want. God Bless!

I love your rejects. You are getting so good!

Any chance you are going to the conference? You would be a big plus for me attending.

I really want to go, I just don't know what to do about work. I am seriously contemplating it though...
