So when people started asking where my I Heart Faces entry was this week, I thought: well my baby doesn't sleep so I got nothing. But then, aha! I remembered that I had taken some pictures of my friend's baby who, luckily, DOES sleep. Just like a little angel.
Visit I Heart Faces to see all the sleeping angels this week. Some of my favorite entries that I've seen so far have been of little ones dreaming under the Christmas tree. I have big plans to get one of Jayci like that. Yeah right, like that'll ever happen. It's all I can do to get her not to pull it over. Our tree now only has ornaments on the top half. It's lovely I tell you, truly lovely.

LOL hilarious story, and beautiful entry.
ReplyDeleteOur tree only has ornaments on the top half as well. Tis the season (of life!) for that, I guess!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little face!!!

What a beautiful picture! Stunning actually. Great entry! Hopefully one day Jayci will enjoy sleep :)
ReplyDeleteLove the cage-fighter story of your little one :O)
ReplyDeleteSuch an adorable photo!
ReplyDeleteYup! that is angelic! And Jayci, girl, be nice to your mama and sleep!
ReplyDeleteJust wait until Jayci is miserably ill and then position her sickly self under the tree just like Mark and I did with Jordyn. :) I know what you mean about your baby not sleeping. That's exactly how my oldest was. My middle child, though, was a dream! He loves his sleep. In other words, you'll have to have a second baby so you can get those sleepy photos. :) I love the photo that you did get. Doesn't it make you jealous to have friends with such cooperative babies? Ha!
ReplyDeleteLove her little lips! So cute! Emily is a pretty good sleeper now, but when she was a baby, once she got to sleep and you happened to breathe outside her door, she would hear you! Whew! Now, she somehow always ends up in our bed and I can roll her over like a log and she doesn't budge! Sweet dreams! ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your story! And the picture is adorable, too! I completely understand sleeplessness (if that's even a word).
ReplyDeleteI have to say, your friends baby is a pretty little angel.
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem with Audrey...When she naps it is in her crib, door closed, music on and complete darkness so I never get the cute sleepy pictures of her like I did with Grant. He would, and still does, takes a nap whenever and wherever he sees fit!
Glad to see you decided to enter. Great job!
Absolutely precious!!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteGet out of here! I can't imagine having a baby that didn't sleep. I would die. Kaish was the best sleeper on the planet.
ReplyDeleteYour friends baby is so cute. What a sweet picture. It made me smile!
That is such a cute baby! I'm jealous of her hair & that she can wear a bow!! Absolutely adorable!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little face! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat entry! Sleeping babies are so valuable to a tired mom. I love when my kids are sleeping. It is all worth it then.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! But I'm with you. If my kids were asleep and a click of the camera woke them up, I would be very, very, very frustrated. :)
ReplyDeleteKevin totally deserved to win and I'm still a little peeved this morning. Michael didn't win as much throughout the season as the other two and Kevin just looked like Santa.
beautiful shot. there's nothing better than a sleeping baby!... not that you would know anything about that! ;)
ReplyDeleteoooh. I have a sleep fighter.... and he is still fighting at age 4! She is SOOOOO cute. love her pucker.
ReplyDeleteso sweet!
ReplyDeletethanks for commenting on my blog!
For babies to have a sound sleep, they must have a consistent bed time routine. Lay down the baby on the same bed even for naps, make the room dark and play some music. This way it will keep the baby from crying too.
