The first time I was brave enough to meet someone in person who I had only known in blog-land, I emailed her and asked if we could come stay at her house for a few days. Because "go big or go home" right? But seriously, I totally think it was a God-thing that I had the courage to do that, because I'm not the most outgoing/risk-taking person you've ever met. Luckily, I knew from reading her blog that Melissa was someone I could be friends with and someone we could learn from. Her family's ministry in West Dallas was just what we wanted our ministry to look like in Atlanta. So we went, she opened her home, and we had a wonderful time. Luckily, we will see them again sometime because she totally owes us a dinner at a Top Chef's restaurant.
Anyways, all that rambling to say that I loved this article about Melissa. Such a good momma!
